To Build a Gateway Central

Well when you first begin a project like that, you need to find the head cheese to direct the operations. For example he/she will have to assign work duties, the hours, make sure that everyone has the things they need to complete the project (the layout). If you want to volunteer for this job then go right ahead, people will really appreciate this, employers also. If you are really serious about completing the project, you will need to work at it as if it were a typical 8 to 4 job until the work is done. Evidently, the more you are, the quicker things will get done.

Of course the funds from the treasury will be what get your project going. Then after that some will decide that they will use their own money to add to the projects. If you really want to push then envelope, go see the shops in your location (maybe they will help out) and when the big moment comes, sell it. Usually anyone that wishes to buy a ticket is more than welcome and at say 1$ a ticket, residents may get interested really fast. If they win, it will be quite a bargain! How often can you say that you got an entire model train layout (complete with the tracks, train etc.) for 1$? Be nice and consider delivering it to the client if he doesn’t live to far away from where you built your artifact. Usually the persons that buy tickets for causes like (charities or any fundraising) are usually passionate about those so don’t be surprised if they want to kiss you when you call them up! Also be skeptical when a parent says that he buys it for their children... They want it for themselves. Men have been known to end puberty two weeks after they die.

If your project is impressive enough then all the effort and money you put in will be profitable and you wont make a hole. As time goes on, you may even get recognized especially if you make this an annual project. Another way to make more money you’re your event is to have your art displayed in a crowded place. If you stay besides your pride and joy (your layout) then you will probably need to answer many questions form on goers. Some of them may even be interested in assisting you for your future projects.

If you want to be recognized as a good leader, it would be nice to others if you would help out from time to time no matter how small of a way it would be. If you want to make sure that you don’t go in the hole with your project, give yourself enough time with the draw. As for a layout that won’t cost too much a 4’ x 6’ is a nice size. If you go larger than that.... transportation may become an issue. If you have a member with a way of transportation big enough you’re fine but if all you have are 2 doors car, then you are in trouble.

When trying to find a way to stimulate your employees, you should try and suggest miniature railroad building and make it an annual thing.
